Preschool Paper Plate Wreath Craft!

Here’s a paper plate wreath craft and Deck The Halls Christmas song for kids!

This simple and festive Christmas Wreath craft activity is enough for toddlers and preschool children to make. All you need is a paper plate, paint, fingers and a little imagination!

And, it is just perfect for a Christmas-theme unit at home or in the classroom!

Deck The Halls Christmas song for children is a nice complement to this super fun kids Christmas craft activity!

So, what are you waiting for?  Let’s craft a Paper Plate Christmas Wreath!

Craft items you will need:

  • Paper plate
  • Green and red paint
  • Dollar store Christmas bow
  • Scissors
  • Hole puncher
  • Scotch tape

Craft instructions:

Using scissors, have the children cut a hole in the center of a paper plate.

Next, have the children paint the paper plate green.

Let dry.

Then, using a hole puncher, have the children punch a hole at the top of the paper plate and insert the bow.

In the back of the paper plate, have the children secure the bow with scotch tape.

After that, have the children dip their thumbs in red paint and press down on the paper plate.  Have the children go all around the paper plate making thumbprints.

Let dry.

And, voila! The children have now made a paper plate wreath craft for Christmas!  

What a colorful and festive Christmas craft activity for preschool and kindergarten children.
