Have the children paint a paper plate brown. This will be the Gingerbread Man’s body.
Next, have the children draw and cut out 2 rounded arms and 2 round legs from a sheet of brown construction paper.
Then, have the children draw and cut out a small round circle from the brown construction paper. This will be the Gingerbread Man’s head.
After that, have the children tape the Gingerbread Man’s arms, legs and head to the back of the paper plate.
With glue, have the children make squiggly lines on the Gingerbread Man’s head, feet and arms, and then press string on top of the glue.
Using the glue again, have the children make a smile on the Gingerbread Man’s face and then press string on top of the glue.
Once done, have the children glue a cotton ball for the nose and googly eyes.
Lastly, have the children glue on pompoms for buttons on the Gingerbread Man’s body.
