So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get crafting with brown bears!
Craft supplies you will need:
- Paper plate
- Brown paint
- Paint brush
- Brown construction paper
- Googly eyes
- Cupcake liner
- Black marker
Have the children paint a paper plate brown.
Next, have the children paint a cupcake liner brown.
While the paint is drying, have the children cut out bear ears from brown construction paper.
When ready, have the children glue the bear ears to the back of the paper plate.
After that, have the children paste on googly eyes to the front of the paper plate.
Using the glue again, have the children paste on the cupcake liner to the bear’s face (paper plate). This will be the bear’s nose.
Lastly, using the black marker, have the children draw a bear’s mouth on the paper plate.
And, voila, the children have now made a Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? Paper Plate Bear! This messy fun craft is just perfect for a Bear theme unit!
