So, what are you waiting for? Let’s make Dr. Seuss Fish handprints!
Craft items you will need:
- Yellow, Green, Red, Light blue and Dark blue construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- White crayon
- Markers
- Googly eyes
Have the children trace and cut out their handprint from yellow, green (2 times), red and blue construction paper.
Next, have the children glue the fish on dark blue construction paper, starting with a yellow fish, then 2 green fish, after that a red fish and finishing with a blue fish.
Using a marker, have the children write One Fish next to the yellow fish; Two Fish next to the 2 green fish, Red Fish next to the red fish and Blue Fish next to the blue fish.
Then, have the children draw fins and a mouth, and glue a googly eye on all the fish.
Lastly, have the children draw water bubbles with a white crayon.

And, voila! The children have now made a handprint One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish craft for Dr. Seuss’ birthday!
What a simple and colorful Dr. Seuss craft activity for preschoolers and kindergarten children.
