Dr. Seuss’s ABC: An Amazing Alphabet Book! by Dr. Seuss is a wonderful book to read to children when teaching them the alphabet. And, there are so many fun alphabet letter activities to go along with the book, like this Alphabet Letter O is for Owl craft!
While the kids are working on their Alphabet craft, play the Letter O song for kids in the background. Music makes alphabet-learning fun!
The Letter O Song for kids is the perfect complement to this super fun kids Alphabet Letter craft activity!
Craft items you will need:
- Brown, Yellow and Orange Construction paper
- Alphabet Letter O template
Print off the Alphabet Letter template.
Next, have the children cut out all the elements on the Alphabet Letter O template.
Once done, have the children trace and cut out Alphabet Letter O from brown paper.
Then, have the children trace and cut out the legs, beak and inner eye from yellow paper. The children can trace and cut out the outer eye from orange construction paper.
Now, it’s time to assemble it all!
Using our image as a guide, have children go wild placing the legs, eyes and beak onto Alphabet Letter O.
When they are happy with their placement, have the children go ahead and start gluing the pieces onto Alphabet Letter.
