  • Crayons
  • Cotton balls
  • Googly eye
  • Red Candy
  • Glue
  • Two peanuts in a shell
  • 3 pieces of pretzels cut in half
  • Hole punch
  • Ribbon

Craft instructions:

Have the children draw and cut out a circle shape from white card stock.  This will be our Christmas Tree Ornament.

Next, have the children color in their Christmas Tree Ornament.

Then, have the children punch a hole at the top of their Christmas Tree Ornament.

After that, have the children glue 2 peanuts on their Christmas Tree Ornament. This will be Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Once done, have the children glue 6 pretzel sticks around the 2 peanuts. 4 pretzel sticks will be for Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer’s legs and the other 2 pretzel sticks will be for Rudolph’s antlers.

When ready, have the children glue a red M&M and a googly eye on the peanut. This will be Rudolph’s nose and one of his eyes.

Using glue, have the children paste on cotton balls at the bottom of their Christmas Tree Ornament. This is our winter snow!

Lastly, have the children thread ribbon through the hole at the top of their Christmas Tree Ornament and knot it.

And, voila!

The children have now made a Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer homemade Christmas ornament craft.

Now, all that’s needed is to find the perfect spot on the Christmas Tree for our Reindeer Christmas Tree Ornament!

What an easy-to-make and really cute Christmas craft activity for preschool and kindergarten children.
