Craft items you will need:
- Construction paper
- White, black and red paint
- Paint brush
- Plates for the paint
Have the children paint their fingers white and press their fingers hard onto the construction paper. This will be Santa Claus’ white beard.
Next, have the children mix white and red paint, making it a flesh color tone.
Once done, have the children paint their palm with the flesh color and press their palm down on the paper, just above the white fingerprints. This will be Santa Claus’ face.
After that, have the children paint their palm and thumb red, and press it down on the paper, just above Santa Claus’ face. This will be Santa Claus’ hat.
Using a paint brush, have the children paint over the areas on their Santa Claus that were not properly covered.
When dry, have the children add eyes, nose and a mouth to Santa Claus’ face.
Lastly, have the children dip their thumb in white paint and add a white pom pom to Santa Claus’ hat.
