  • Toilet paper roll
  • Orange construction paper

  • Scissors
  • Brown and green construction paper

Craft instructions:

Have the children cut off a piece of orange construction paper and wrap around a toilet paper roll.

Once done, using scotch tape, have the children secure the construction paper, so it stays in place.

Then, have the children cut 10 strips of orange construction paper, about 1 inch in width.

Starting at the top end of the toilet paper roll, have the children attach a piece of scotch tape to one end of the construction paper strip and tape it into the inside of the toilet paper roll.

Have the children repeat the process, going all around the toilet paper roll, until all the construction paper strips are taped inside.

After that, have the children attach scotch tape to the the other end of construction paper strip and tape it to the opposite end of the toilet paper roll.

Have the children repeat the process again, going all around the toilet paper roll, until all the construction paper strips are taped inside.

Lastly, have the children draw and cut out a green leaf from green construction paper and a brown stem from brown construction paper, and tape them into the opening to complete Toilet Paper Roll Pumpkin.

And, voila, the children now have a Toilet Paper Roll Pumpkin!

The Pumpkin comes out looking so good and it’s such a fun craft activity for kids!  Just perfect for a Fall or Halloween-theme unit at home or in the classroom!
