Craft items you will need:
- White paper
- Green construction paper
- Apple cut in half
- Red paint
- Paper plate
- Markers and crayons
- Scissors
- Stapler
Craft instructions:
Have the children draw a picture of themselves on a sheet of white paper, and color it in.
Next, provide each children with an apple half and have them dip the apple half in red paint.
Then, have the children stamp the apple half from end of the white paper to the other.
Let dry.
While the paint is drying, have the children cut a 2 inch strip from green construction paper.
Once cut, have the children staple the ends of the green strip together.
After that, have the children staple their drawing (of themselves) to the green headband.
Lastly, have the children staple their apple stamping picture on top of their drawing.
And, voila! The children have now created a Dr Seuss Apples Up On Top headband craft.
